Your clients rave in the chair. Let's get it online.
Ovation asks happy clients for a review after their appointment, replies to every review in your voice, and helps you post your best work, so new clients find you before they find anyone else.

- 1
Tuesday, a client leaves with a fresh balayage and pays at the front desk.
- 2
That evening, she gets a friendly note asking how she loves her color, with a link to leave a review.
- 3
She writes five stars and names her stylist, Maria. Ovation thanks her, mentions the color, and gives Maria the credit.
- 4
Thursday, you post her new look (with her permission) after Ovation writes the caption for Instagram, Facebook and Google.
Reviews that name your team get answered that way.
Clients thank stylists, barbers and techs by name. Ovation's replies do the same, so your team gets recognized in public and clients feel heard. Pick which star ratings get answered automatically and handle the rest yourself with a reply already drafted.
Ask every client while the result is still fresh.
Connect the payment system you already use and Ovation sends a review request by email or text after each appointment. Choose how long it waits, and skip small add-on sales with a minimum ticket size.
A steady stream of posts for your best work.
Describe the cut, the color or this month's offer and Ovation writes the caption for Instagram, Facebook and your Google Business Profile, with an image if you want one. Only post client photos with their permission.
Be the salon that shows up first nearby.
Track where you rank on Google Maps for searches like "men's haircut near me" or "lash extensions in [your city]", see which salons rank around you, and keep your details right across directories.
Spot patterns across hundreds of reviews.
Ovation groups what clients mention most, like booking, wait time, price and results, so you know what keeps them coming back.
When to ask for the review
The same evening works well for most salons: clients have seen the result in their own mirror and are happy to share it. For color and bigger services, a day later gives them time to show it off first. Ovation lets you set anything from right away to 72 hours.

Can replies mention my stylists by name?
Yes. When a client names someone in their review, Ovation's reply thanks that person by name, and you can edit any reply before it posts.
Can I post client photos?
Ovation writes the caption and can create an image, and you choose what goes up. Only post a client's photo when they've said yes.
Which review sites does Ovation work with?
Google, where most people check reviews before choosing a local business. Ovation also checks that your details are correct on Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing and other directories.
Do I need to change my point-of-sale or payment system?
No. Ovation connects to the payment system you already use to know when someone has been a customer. If yours isn't supported yet, you can still send review requests by hand or from a customer list.
I have more than one location. Does that work?
Yes. Each location gets its own reviews, review link, request timing and rankings, and you manage them all from one login. The Team plan covers 2 to 10 locations.
How long does setup take?
Most salons and beauty businesses are up and running in a few minutes: connect Google and Facebook, connect your payment system if you have one, and choose your reply settings.
